Eddie,
On April 3, 2023, we visited the site of the Murray Residence under construction at 331
Rapids View Lane near Silt in Garfield County, Colorado to observe the OWTS installation
pursuant to OWTS Permit # SEPT-7597. At the time of our site visit, the owner had installed the
new sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the residence, the new concrete 1,500-gallon two-
compartment septic tank with a pump in the second compartment, the new effluent line, the
manifold, and the two gravelless chamber beds. The septic tank and manifold were installed
level with access brought to grade. An effluent filter had been installed in the outlet tee of the
septic tank. The beds were determined to be level, with 4-feet between the beds. The beds
consisted of 10 Infiltrator Quick4 chambers per trench (40 total chambers, 480 ft 2 total STA).
Additionally, inspection ports were present at each end of each trench. In our opinion, this
system was installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No
further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this
permit.
