To whom it may concern:
This letter is to summarize the conditions identified on site that needed to be verified/ctarified by DB
Structural Design:
a The framing of the gabte end watl at the great room has been coordinated and is acceptabte as
framed.
Rafters are acceptabte over the office vs the prefab trusses that were originatty shown.
It is acceptabte to use Simpson top ftange hangers around the perimeter foundation wal.ls vs what
is shown on detail 5154.0.
The roof overframing is acceptabte
The ledger condition for truss support is acceptabte with (3)Timbertok screws into each stud
The ledger at the dropped framing for the showers is acceptable.
Shear watts
Zip panels are acceptabte as shear watls in the garage and do not require additionat strapping
At[ other shear walts not identified as "SW-Z" require 1/2" sheathing. Since Zip panets were
atready instalted on the exterior, a layer of Vz" sheathing is required on the inside face of the
watts. See the framing ptans and shear wa[[ schedute for nailing and strapping requirements.
Any window openings greater than 7'-0" at the main [eve[ require a doubte sitl ptate, atl other
window sill ptates are acceptabte as framed
The office header needs to be a (3)5 yz" LVL, atl other headers are acceptable as framed.
Ftoor joists that have been headered to accommodate ptumbing are acceptable.
The crawtspace columns against the foundation watts are acceptable
There were a few conditions where the stud was gapped between the footing and the stud,
provide additional stud/shim as required to ensure futl bearing on footing
