3554 County Road 214
Silt, CO 81652
OWTS Permit #: SEPT‐7916
May 12, 2023
Dana and Joan,
Due to scheduling conflicts, Garfield County Public Health (GCPH) was not able to inspect the
installation of the OWTS at 3554 County Road 214 near Silt (OWTS Permit No. SEPT‐7916). On May 2,
2023, we received an installation observation letter from the OWTS designer, CBO, Inc. At the time of
CBO’s site visit, the contractor had installed the new cleanout adjacent to the new building, the new
sewer line, the new plastic 1,000‐gallon two‐compartment septic tank with an effluent filter in the outlet
tee of the tank, the manifold, and the Soil Treatment Area (STA). The STA consists of four rows of 14
Quick4 chambers per row (56 chambers total). The new tank was installed level with access to grade.
The chamber rows and the manifold were installed level. Observation ports were installed at each
corner of the bed. In our opinion, this system was installed in general conformance with Garfield County
OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required
regarding this permit.
Thank you,
Edward R. “Ted” White, P.E.
