To Whom It May Concern:
I have examined the engineering on this building, specifically the bolts specified on the original plans
which are A325 bolts. It has come to my attention that the bolts supplied are ‘Grade 5’ bolts in lieu of
A325 bolts. Provide they have been installed at the correct locations and using the specified diameters,
as well as using washers where required per Detail X on Sheet 11, it is permissible to have used Grade
5 bolts on this structure.
