RE: Certification Letter for OWTS Construction, 876 County Road 231, Silt, CO 81652
Dear Ted,
This memo is to certify that the Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) permitted for
876 County Road 231 was constructed per the approved design.
Although I was not present for construction of the system, photos provided by the
Owner/Contractor indicate the approved design was followed. In addition, observations from my
final inspection indicate:
All components to the system were installed.
Relocated component locations met requirements of the County’s Regulation 43.
The float, pump, automatic distribution valve (ADV) and laterals perform per design
requirements.
A weep hole was provided in the transport line from the pump vault to the ADV to allow
effluent in the transport line to drain back into the pump vault.
The alarm system for malfunction of the pump had been installed and operates as
designed.
The attached record drawing shows as constructed locations for the components of the OWTS.
