At the time of our site visit, the contractor had installed the new sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the residence, the new concrete 1,500-gallon two-compartment septic tank, the new effluent line, the distribution box, and the five gravelless GeoMat trenches. The septic tank and distribution box were installed level with access brought to grade. An effluent filter had been installed in the outlet tee of the septic tank. The trenches were level, had a minimum of 6-inches of sand filter material placed over the infiltrative soil, and had at least 4-feet between the trenches. The trenches were 3-feet wide by 56-feet long (840 ft2 STA). Additionally, inspection ports were present at each end of each trench. We received an installation certification letter and as-built drawing from the designer dated August 13, 2023. In our opinion, this system was installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. Thank you, Edward R. “Ted” White, P.E.
