There was a "Condition of Permit" note on the Building Permit (note #6, see attached) that stated the owner needed to contact Garfield County Public Health about their OWTS prior to final building inspection, but we will not hold up CO based on that note. We agree that the OWTS should have been addressed prior to the building permit being issued. We will work with the owner to get the OWTS issue addressed. We request that the owner have the system inspected, and that the inspection determine if the system is sized appropriately, is in good working order, and provide recommendations as to how to bring the system into Regulatory compliance, if required. They are needing to do someth¡ng with their system for building perm¡t sign off, but are close to CO. They added a bedroom and the OWTS was not flagged at the time of issuance for some reason. J 2 I spoke to the owner and they were wondering if they would still be able to get CO near-term as they are renting. They are checking with the contractor to see what his schedule for final is, but they are hoping to be in their house at the end of the month. Let's talk about next steps with this system and timing. Owner is agreeable but has some income restrictions as they are retired.
