GCPH will grant a six month extension of the permit (from today’s date, November 14, 2023) without charge. Garfield County Onsite Wastewater Treatment Regulations were updated in March of 2023 to include a new fee schedule which includes a “Renewal of Expired Permit Fee” of $75. Please be advised that if this permit extension expires before the system is constructed, the permit renewal fee will be assessed. When I looked up your permit, I noticed it is a container home. I was surprised my predecessor approved it without the required 36” hinge type You don't often get email from dylawnmace@gmail.com. Learn why this is important egress door. Sliding doors are not legal egress from a home. I’m hoping that a proper egress door can be installed prior to your final inspection. The OWTS Permit is an Environmental Health Permit. I don’t know that status. Ted is cc’d at E.H. Teresa and Brooke, would you please add an extension to his permit. I was talking to the office about getting an extension on my building permit. I ran behind this year and didn't get to an inspection point in time for a renewal. I was supposed to have the roof framing done a few months ago but ran into some family issues. I am ready for a roof framing inspection and will be ready for an OWTS inspection soon aswell. Hoping to be working inside during the winter in order to wrap up buildimg by the beginning of next summer. Very sorry to have to ask this but any help would be appreciated. Please let me know what can be done and thank you very much.
