Kurt,
Let me make sure l'm understanding the intent correctly
1. They plan to construct two buildings on the subject lot at the same time? Yes.
2. W¡ll construction occur concurrently, with rough-in, framing and final inspections for both structures scheduled
during same time frame and on same dates? I believe that is the plan. Stirling Ranch does not allow the
Garage ADU to go first.
3. Wlll they want to obtain ONE certificate of occupancy for the entire compound when both structures have been
completed? Yes. Have not had this conversation with owner - but I believe he was intending to do both
at same time - and same time CO.
4. Or do they need to occupy one structure prior to the other building being finished? Not allowed by Stirling
Ranch.
5. Does the SI.,0OO,O00 building valuation on the application form reflect estimated cost of both structures? That
number was from Owner / Contractor. I thought it was low as well - but he is confident w¡th h¡s
contacts / subs that he can do it for that.
6. W¡ll the same general contractor and sub contractors be responsible for construction work at both
structures? Yes. Or will different subs be doing some of the MEP, concrete, framing work? Should be all the
same.

To facilitate the inspection needs and readiness for the owner's Certificate of Occupancy, this moy require putting the
detached garage / ADU above under a separate building application form and separate permit number, with inspection
record card. That would be fine I think. They can run concurrent though?
l'm mildly concerned with managing the paperwork when the two building structures are not immediately adiacent to
one another. Ok.
I don't, necessarily, find it bothersome to have both building designs depicted within one rolled up FIELD COPY, as we
would expect the project manager or general contractor, to upon permit issuance produce a duplicate set of the FIELD
COPY to have readily available for inspecting at the two job sites. Yes. We cor"rld break it up to two permit numbers
under same fee? How ever you need to do it is fine.
Let me know what you're thinking,
Thanks,
Colleen

No, please review entire submission. I might have screwed up in the description - as we have a 3 car
'attached' garage as well as the two car / ADU that is detached.

Courtesy message for Chris H Norsk Builders and/or Kurt Carruth,
I just noticed the DESCRIBE WORK on the application form states SFR and attached garage.
As the plan set includes architectural details for a separate detached garage / ADU, may I confirm that is NOT part of
the current building application work scope?
That l'm to only review the main house and attached garage at this time?
Please advise at your earliest convenience,
Thanks!
