On November 7, 2023, we visited the site of the residence at 7960 County Road 301 near
Parachute in Garfield County, Colorado to observe the OWTS installation pursuant to OWTS
Permit # SEPT-8177. At the time of our site visit, the contractor had installed the new sewer line
and cleanout adjacent to the residence, the new poly 1,500-gallon two-compartment septic tank
with an effluent filter in the outlet tee of the tank, the new effluent line, the new distribution box,
and the five gravelless chamber trenches. The septic tank was installed level with access
brought to grade. The trenches consisted of 18 Infiltrator Quick4 chambers per trench (90 total
chambers, 1,080 ft2 total STA). Additionally, inspection ports were present at each end of each
trench. We received an as-built drawing of the constructed system and a letter certifying that the
system was constructed in compliance with the permitted design from the OWTS designer
dated November 13, 2023. In our opinion, this system was installed in general conformance with
Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield County
Environmental Health is required regarding this permit.
