As per conversations with Bill Gavette Fire Marshal in Carbondale and Mark Bean, fire
sprinkler requirements in Aspen Glen are as follows:
1. Areas East of the Roaring Fork River lots Al-G5 sprinklerrequirements can be
determined from chart entitled ASPEN GLEN UFC FIRE AREAS dated 8-12-97.
One should note footnote2limitingthe maximum fire'areawithout sprinklers to
9400s.f. regardless of available fireflow.
2. Areas West ofthe Roarine Fo* River shall be limited to a maximum fire area
without requiring sprinklis tofu{.f. uniess it canbe shown available fireflow
allows for a larger structue. b2o6t
