Before I formally start the code compliance review, I will need a few things answered: REQUESTED ITEMS FOR REVIEW: t. How will the laundry room be heated? 1.a. electric heat mat? L.b. new hydronic heat loop fastened to the crawl space floor system below? 1.c. electric baseboard heat? 1.d. hydronic baseboard heat? 2. Where new windows / doors are added in the addition, what energy U-factors are you selecting to install? 3. How will the new mud / laundry room be insulated? 3.a. Supply a building cross section showing floor / walU ceiling assembly 3.b. Specify type of insulation material, and R-Values 4. The new side-hinged door to building exterior covered patio, appears to be served by two steps. This subject door also appears to be the only side-hinged door serving the residential home. Please confirm the new main exit door will comply with 20LS lRC Section R311.2 Egress Door and R311.3 Floors and Landings at exterior doors. Where applicable, eliminate 2 stair risers and provide compliant door landing. SECTION R31 1 MEANS OF EGRESS R311.1 Means of egress.
