RE: Bleecher framing items
Bruce,
The letter is to address a few items from a recent framing inspection.
- The (2)-7 ¼”LVL Header at the entry was designed to be a single span, and the center
column on the permit set is not required.
- The shearwalls have been designed to be where shown on the plans. The shearwall
sheathing above and below door and window openings is not required.
- The 2nd level deck framing may be hung instead of bearing like the permit drawings show
them.
