Box 130 Glenwood Springs, CO 81602 Attn: David Hillbrand Extension Request for Grading Permit, Parcel # 218301100069 GRAD-03-20-6195 Dear Mr. Hillbrand, The County Building Department has received a permit extension request for the above referenced Grading Permit. The Board of County Commissioners has recently extended the time frame to complete the conditions of approval before the land use permit can be issued to one year from today. The lnternational Building Code section 105.5 allows for permit extensions of time for periods of not more than 180 days. During meetings with Mark Gould and Mark Junior it was indicated the excavation would be done by November 2024. The material processing on site is to be specifically for this parcel. The processing materials for alternative sites would require a Land Use Change Permit as it would be considered a Gravel Operation based on the County's Use Table within the Land Use And Development Code. The Building Department is approving the extension request for this Grading Permit for 180 days from today, expiring on November 9th, 2024. Sincerely, Itftn flfu& John Plano Chief Building Official 108 Eighth Street, Suite 401 Glenwood Springs, Colorado 81601 (970) 94s-82r2
