My intended use for the proposed 1,500 sq ft structure is for dry storage for boats and cars. This buitding
witl, not be used for any commercial purposes, There witl, be no water or wastewater. There wil,t be no
l,iving space in the structure. The profil,e pits were dug because initial,l,y i ptanned on having water but I
have since decided against it. Buitding witt have electric and propane heat. Kumar wil,t provide soil testing
when footers are excavated. Ptease feel f ree to contact me with any further questions.

I am beginning the buitding compliance review for your new buitding apptication and have a few
questions to be ctarified BEFORE I continue processing your permit apptication and preparing the
FIELD COPY:
QUESTTONS:
1. What is the intended buitding use for the 1,500 sq ft structure?
1.a. Witt this become a private use, detached, heated garage serving as an accessory
structure to the main residence?
1 .b. ls the buil.ding intended for any use by emptoyees or members of the general pubtic or
for some commerciaI business operation?
1.c. Witt the 1,500 square foot buitding be connected to an existing or new on-site
wastewater treatment system?
1.d. Wittthe buitding contain any finished ptumbing fixtures; if so, exptain?
1 .e. Witt the 1 ,500 sq ft buitding shett inctude any finished habitabte tiving space? lf so,
ptease expound in writing.
FEEDBACK: Found pages in the plan documents remain "silent" on the buitding room use
and occupancy. Muttiple structures are graphicatty depicted on the submitted SITE
PLAN. lt is stightty unclear where the main residence is tocated in proximity to the
PROPOSED BUILDING? No ctear tabet is shown identifying location of the "residence" on
the SITE PLAN. Type of Construction check boxes are [eft btank and type of septic remains
btank on the apptication form. Obtaining a bit more written response from the owners wi[[
hetp guide me in accurately reviewing and stamping your permit set in accordance with the
correct buitding use and occupancy.

2. lnctuded with the buitding apptication materiats is a site grading drainage ptan with drywett
as wetl as stamped geotechnicaI engineer's letter dated December 3,2023 by Kumar &
Associates, with subject tine PROFILE PITS and Lab tests for onsite wastewater treatment
system or OWTS a13447 CR 103.
2.a. Was the buitding permit apptication intended to be submitted with a companion NEW
SEPTIC PERMIT apptication or ALTERATION PERMIT apptication on this same property? l'm
striving to make sure nothing fatts through the cracks in your case review, and that Garfietd
County Environmentat Heatth inspectors are made abreast of anything they might need to
be aware of regarding septic changes on the property.
