TRENCH WIDTH TO BE A MINIMUM OF 8" PLUS THE DIAMETER OF THE PIPE, AND A MAXIMUM OF 24" PLUS THE DIAMETER OF THE PIPE.
IN LOCATIONS WHERE THE MINIMUM REQUIRED DEPTH OF BURY OF 5.0 FEET IS NOT POSSIBLE, THEN THE SEWER MAIN SHALL BE INSULATED WITH 2-INCH THICK "BLUE
BOARD" FOAM INSULATION. THE INSULATION SHALL BE CONFIGURED SUCH THAT THE SUM OF THE DIMENSIONS OF D1, D2 AND D3 IS EQUAL TO OR GREATER THAN 5.0
FEET. [D1 + D2 + D3 > OR = 5.0 FEET].
