OWTS Permit #: SEPT-8911
January 3, 2025
On December 26, 2024, we visited the residence at 2607 County Road 314 near New Castle in
Garfield County, Colorado to observe the OWTS installation pursuant to OWTS Permit # SEPT-
8911. At the time of our site visit, the contractor had installed the new sewer line and cleanout
adjacent to the residence, the new poly 1,000-gallon two-compartment septic tank with an
effluent filter in the outlet tee of the tank, the new effluent line, the new distribution box, and five
gravelless chamber trenches. The septic tank and distribution box were installed level with
access brought to grade. The septic tank utilized for this project is on the accepted septic tank
list published by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. The trenches
consisted of 15 ARC 36 chambers per trench (75 total chambers, 1,125 ft2 total STA) and
appeared to be level. Additionally, inspection ports were present at the distal end of each
trench. We received an as-built drawing of the constructed system and a letter certifying that the
system was constructed in compliance with the permitted design from the OWTS designer
dated December 23, 2024. In our opinion, this system was installed in general conformance with
Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield County
Environmental Health is required regarding this permit.
