Septic tank Replacement
183 County Road 167
Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
OWTS Permit #: SEPT-6258
March 4, 2025
Jeff,
On November 12, 2020, Garfield County Public Health staff observed the installation of the
replacement septic tank at 183 County Road 167 near Glenwood Springs in accordance with
OWTS Permit # SEPT-6258. At the time of our site visit, the contractor had removed the
existing septic tank and replaced it with a new 1,500-gallon two-compartment Valley Precast
septic tank with an effluent filter in the outlet tee of the tank. The septic tank is found on the
approved list of septic tanks by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
(CDPHE) and appeared to be installed level with access brought to grade. In our opinion, this
tank was installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further
action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit.
Thank you,
