At the time of our site visit, the contractor had removed the existing septic tank and replaced it with a new 1,500-gallon two-compartment Valley Precast septic tank with an effluent filter in the outlet tee of the tank. The septic tank is found on the approved list of septic tanks by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and appeared to be installed level with access brought to grade. In our opinion, this tank was installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit. Thank you, Edward R. “Ted” White, P.E.
