Manual D - Duct Design Recommendations:
. Ductwork should be sized to handle the required CFM per zone with <0.5 in. w.c. total ESP
. Use hard duct where possible to minimize pressure losses.
. Target duct velocities: 700-900 FPM in trunks, <500 FPM at terminals.
. Use balancing dampers for proper airflow zoning.
Smart Thermostat Recommendations :
. Mitsubishi Kumo Cloud (PAC-USWHS002-WF-2) - zone-level smaft control
. 3rd Party Options: Ecobee Premium or Honeywell RedLINK with interface module
. Integrate with CNl05 or use Mitsubishi PAC-US444CN-l adapter
Electrical Requirements :
. PUZ-HA60NKA1 :2081230Y, l-phase, MCA: 39A, Max Fuse: 50A
. PEAD Units: 2081230V, MCA 1 .l-25A depending on model, Max Fuse: l5A
. Branch Box: Powered by outdoor unit
. Thermostats: Low voltage or Wi-Fi powered
ERV/IIRV Ventilation System Specification:
. Model: Panasonic Intelli-BalancerM 200 ERV
- Airflow Range: 50-200 CFM (balanced intake/exhaust)
- ERV core with latent/sensible recovery
- Voltage: l20V lAmps: 1.5A I Duct: 6"
- Alt: Broan AI Series (AI200 or AI250)
Make-Up Air System for 11200 CFM Kitchen Hood:
. System: Fantech MUAS 160 or 250 with inline duct heater
- Up to 1,200+ CFM with pressure sensor + damper
- Heater: 5-10 kW recommended I l20V or 240Y
- Interlocked with hood; consider pre-filtration
