The construction of the OWTS was performed by Mr. Ben Wagenman of Oleo Construction, #970.309.6686. On Thursday June 5th, 2025 a representative of Mountain Cross Engineering, Inc. reviewed the profile hole that was excavated and performed a visual analysis of the soils. Neither groundwater nor bedrock were encountered. Below the top 4” to 6” of topsoil, the soils were consistent for the 8 ft. depth with no defined layers. The soils were identified as Sandy Loam, Soil Type 2A by CBO, Inc. in their letter dated October 9, 2024 and the soils evaluated by this office were consistent with those finding. A long-term acceptance rate of 0.5 gallons per day per square foot was confirmed and the design did not need to be revised. Picture verification was requested once finished: 1. The outlets from the distribution box needed to be verified as level after backfill was complete. 2. The vent/inspection caps needed to be completed with vent holes and caps installed. 3. The depth of two rows of chambers exceeded the maximum depth allowed. Evidence that the finished grade was lowered to achieve the allowable depth was requested.
