I am now reviewing plans for the 2,400 square foot shop building at796 CR 259 in Rifle and would like a clear
understanding of the building use as no floor plan detail is included in the application packet.
Your written responses will help us determine what building codes apply and how the use complies with
Garfield County's adopted land use regulations.
As Follows:
L. What is the proposed use of the building? Will be used for to store are farming equipment
1.a. ls the building intended as an accessory building to the main residence and intended for private
personal storage and vehicular use only?no
1.b. Will the building be a place of employment OR serve a commercial business operation with visiting
customers?no
1.c. Or other uses?no
2. Will the building have electricity? lf so, then separate electrical permit and electrical inspections will
be required by the State Electrical lnspection Department.yes it will be some electric outlets aroud the
building
3. Willthe building have any water supply, sewer service connections, plumbing fixtures and /or gas-fired
or electric water heaters?no
4. Willthe building have natural gas or LP propane fueled mechanical heaters? lf so, provide equipment
types and location(s) i.e. ceiling mounted, wall mounted?no
5. Willthe building be used to store residentialvehicles?no
5. Willthe building be insulated? lf so, provide proposed insulation materials and details?sent

7. Will the building have infloor radiant heat tubing or mats installed?no
