Dear Stephen and Brad,
We are in receipt of a buitding permit apptication and grading permit appl,ication for the new home on
Mountain Springs Ranch Road.
Because of the steepness of the driveway, I've requested comments from the local Fire Marshal
regarding the driveway access.
Ptease take the comments betow seriousty, as we wit[ want to see these additionaI improvements on the
driveway prior to Certificate of Occupancy.

HiJohn,
This driveway is quite simitar to a tot of driveways in that area. Our department has, and witt always, relain a 4-
wheel, drive Type 1 engine that responds to structure fires in our rura[ district and is housed in Station 73. For this
property, I woutd ask for a widening of the turn and putt-out area so that vehictes two vehicles can fit easity side by
side. I woutd also ask for att vegetation be removed Sft back on both sides of the road.
I hope they are buitding with witdfire resitiency as this area is red hot on the map! Make sure they have a good
address marker on the county road.

Guys,
There's a new house proposed up 3 Mite, parcel #218528200033. I'm processing the Grading Permit as
the Buitding Permit is in [ine for review.
I'm concerned about the steepness and width for emergency vehictes. The County's Land Use Code
waives the 12' wide and 12o/o fiox stope for singte famity driveways. But here's stitt a statement regarding
EmergencyAccess and Egress. They are showingl4o/o and 11'wide...
Woul,d you Like to make any statements or requirements for this proposed driveway?
