OWTS Permit #: SEPT-9147
November 3, 2025
On August 13, 2025, we visited the site at 148 Sunlight Drive, Parcel Number # 239117401046 near
Carbondale in Garfield County, Colorado to observe the OWTS installation pursuant to OWTS Permit # SEPT-
9147 (concurrent with Building Permit BLRE-9146). At the time of our site visit, the homeowner had installed
the new sewer line and cleanout, the new 1,500-gallon two-compartment Norwesco/Snyder septic tank with an
effluent filter in the outlet tee, the new effluent line, distribution box, and the Soil Treatment Area (STA). The
new STA was comprised of two gravelless chamber trenches, each trench consisting of 18 ‘Arc 36’ chambers
per trench (36 chambers total) for a total STA of 540 ft2. We received an as-built drawing of the constructed
system and a letter certifying that the system was constructed in compliance with the permitted design from the
OWTS designer dated October 15, 2025. In our opinion, this system was installed in general conformance with
Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is
required regarding this permit.
