Learn why this is important Good morning Mr. Plano, I'm writing today to see what options I have for extending my building permit which expires next month. Since our last conversation, I have installed/completed the floors, cabinets, countertops, doors, trim, 2 sinks and toilet, and have received a final on my state electrical permit this month. I am finishing trimming out closets and painting trim next month. Besides that, the only remaining item I believe I have is the walk-in shower which requires pouring the shower base, hanging durock, laying tile and installing a glass door. Shower valve is in but floor drain needs to be set. The cost to tile a shower has been prohibitive to completing the project in addition to everything else over the last several months. My plan is to complete the shower in late summer when I've had more time to save up and potentially get some competitive bids for tile work. I believe I was told that getting an inspection would extend the permit out but wanted to check first so I didn't waste anyone's time. Thank you for your consideration.
