AND ALL FACTORY -BUILT RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURES INSTALLED IN GARFIELD COUNTY MUST MEET
C.D.O.H. GUIDELINES FOR MANUFACTURE AND INSTALLATION AT THE JOB SITE.

1) PRIOR TO THE CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY ISSUANCE SUBMIT THE
CERTIFICATE OF PERMANENT LOCATION TO THE ASSESSOR'S OFFICE, TO
CLawrenceC7garfieIdcountyco. qo�
2) FOUNDATION CRAWL SPACE & EXTERIOR DOOR LANDING / STAIRS SHALL
COMPLY WITH 2O15 I.R.C., 2018 I.F_.C.C. AND MANUFACTURER'S INSTALLATION
REQUIREMENTS.
3) REFER TO PLAN ATTACHMENTS FOR GARFIELD COUNTY'S BUILDING
REQUIREMENTS AND MANUFACTURER'S INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS.
4) ALL PLUMBING AND GAS PIPING CONNECTIONS MUST BE PERFORMED BY A
COLORADO LICENSED PLUMBER, AND ALL ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS MUST
BE PERFORMED BY A COLORADO LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.
5) ELECTRICAL PERMITTING AND INSPECTIONS BY COLORADO STATE ELECTRIC
BOARD. ELECTRICAL ROUGH -IN APPROVAL, ELECTRICAL FINAL APPROVAL
REQUIRED FOR FINAL INSPECTION & CERT. OF OCCUPANCY.
6) PRIOR TO FINAL BUILDING INSPECTION & CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY,
PROVIDE BUILDING INSPECTOR WITH FINAL APPROVAL / SIGN -OFF FROM
GARFIELD COUNTY'S PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOR INSTALLATION OF
THE ON -SITE WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM.
7) GARFIELD COUNTY BUILDING DEPT. INSPECTIONS TO INCLUDE THE
FOLLOWING:
A. FOOTINGS DESIGNED AT 3000PSF, VERIFY 36 INCH MINIMUM FROST DEPTH
& UFERGROUND INSTALLED. OPEN HOLE SOILS REPORT REQUIRED AT
FIRST FOOTING INSPECTION. 3' OF STRUCTURAL FILL REQUIRED.
B. FOUNDATION
C. SEPTIC SYSTEM CONNECTION
D. PLUMBING/GAS
E. SITE FRAMING, STAIRS, HANDRAILS PER STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS PLANS
AND FIELD COPY.
F. FINAL INSPECTION & CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY*
8) *NOTE: GARFIELD COUNTY REQUIRES C.D.O.H. INSTALLATION INSIGNIA TO BE
AFFIXED PRIOR TO FINAL BUILDING INSPECTION & CERTIFICATE OF
OCCUPANCY
9) SANITARY FACILITIES ARE REQUIRED TO BE PROVIDED FOR WORKERS.
10)A PASSING BLOWER DOOR TEST IS REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED PRIOR TO
ISSUING THE CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY.
11) THE HOME IS TO BE SUPPLIED WITH MECHANICAL VENTILATION OF OUTDOOR
AIR. THE MINIMUM VENTILATION RATE IS TO BE CFM = (0.01X TOTAL SQUARE
FOOTAGE OF THE HOUSE) + 7.5 X (NUMBER OF BEDROOMS +1) GENERAL
NOTES ON THE PLANS INDICATE WHOLE HOUSE VENTILATION.
12) INSTALL STORMWATER CONTROLS PRIOR TO ANY DIRT WORK.
13) LOCATE ALL UTILITIES PRIOR TO ANY WORK. 811 IS THE STATE UTILITY
LOCATE NUMBER
14) PROVIDE DUST CONTROL AS REQUIRED DURING CONSTRUCTION.
15) MAINTAIN ALL DRAINAGE ON THE SUBJECT PROPERTY, DRAINAGE SHALL NOT
ENTER NEIGHBORING PROPERTIES OTHER THAN HISTORIC DRAINAGE.
