The system was designed by Reliable Septic Solutions and installed by Altitude Septic. We received an as-built drawing of the constructed system and a letter certifying that the system was constructed in compliance with the permitted design from the OWTS designer dated June 8, 2026. During our inspection, we observed the new sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the building, the new poly 1,000-gallon two-compartment septic tank with an effluent filter in the outlet of the second compartment of the tank, the new effluent line, the new 500 gallon pump chamber with a high-head Orenco pump package, the new pump line, the level manifold, and the Soil Treatment Area (STA). The septic tank and pump chamber were installed level with access brought to grade. The STA consisted of four pressure-dosed chamber trenches with 16 Quick 4 Low Profile chambers per trench (64 total chambers, and 768 ft2 total STA). The STA consisted of 4 distribution laterals constructed of 1.5-inch diameter Schedule 40 PVC with 5/32-inch diameter orifices every 3-feet on center, facing upwards, with first and last orifices facing down for drainage. The distribution laterals ended in a 90-degree sweeping bend facing up, fitted with a ball valve to allow flushing of the laterals. Additionally, inspection ports were present at each corner of the bed. On June 8, 2026, we observed the pump test, and residual head height, and confirmed proper tank abandonment and functioning of high water alarms. As required by Garfield County OWTS Regulation Section 43.4.F.3, based on our final inspection observations, this OWTS was installed according to the permit requirements and regulations.
