All installation must comply with all requirements of the County Individual Sewage Disposal Regulations, adopted pursuant to au- thority granted in 66-44-4, CRS 1963, amended 66-3-14, CRS 1963. 2. This permit is valid only for connection to structures which have fully complied with County Zoning and building requirements. Connection to or use with any dwelling or structures not approved by the building and Zoning office shall automatically be a viola- tion of a requirement of the permit and cause for both legal action and revocation of the permit. 3. Section III, 3.24 requires any person who constructs, alters, or installs an individual sewage disposal system in a manner which iri i volves a knowing and material variation from the terms or specifications contained in the application of permit commits a Class I, a Petty Offense ($500.00 fine — 6 months in jail or both. This documentation verifies the proposed standard septic system can be installed in accordance with all applicable Garfield County and Colorado State requirements. Should your client's proposal receive approval by the City, please contact me for the final inspection of the system. Should it not, please return the permit for cancellation and return of your fee. Box 609 Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 Dear Mr. Hocking: You have requested that I forward a letter to you regarding the City of Glenwood Springs' policy regarding sewer connections to City sewer facilities. The City of Glenwood Springs requires that all buildings located within 400 feet of an established service line must be connected with the City sewerage system. The property owned by Mr. Dan Moss on Midland Avenue, located in what is commonly referred to as Skunk Hollow, is outside of the 400 foot limit, and therefore, would not be required to connect to the City system. It should be pointed out, however, that the City does request the right to review the application for the indi- vidual disposal system which would subsequently be approved by Garfield County in accordance with all County rules, regulations and specifications.
