From past experience in the area, individual sewage disposal is feasible, although soil percolation is extremely fast. Because of this, an aerated treatment unit may be required along with the accompaning subsurface disposal area. If the work is contracted by the Ballards, they could reasonably be expected to have to pay approximately $2,500.00 to $3,000.00 for the installation of the individual sewage treatment system. This cost lessens somewhat if the Ballards do part of the construction them- selves. If we may be of any further assistance, please feel free to contact me. Very truly yours, ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT Edward L. Feld Department Head ELF /tls
