Splash blocks or downspout extensions should be provided at all discharge locations. PERCOLATION TESTS We performed percolation tests In three (3) holes (P -1, P -2 and P -3) at locations shown on Figure 1. Our test results varied significantly from hole to hole. The bottom of our percolation hole P -2 was bottomed in gravel. Based on the test results we suggest the percolation field be designed at a percolation rate of 60 minutes per inch. Because of the varied test results, we suggest we view the soils that occur at the bottom of the percolation field to verify that our recommended percolation rate Is appropriate. Test data are shown on Figures 6, 7 and 8. LIMITATIONS Our test holes were spaced to obtain a reasonably accurate picture of the subsurface. Variations in the subsurface conditions not Indicated by our test holes will occur. We should be informed if soils different than anticipated from this report are found In the excavation. Our report was based on conditions disclosed by our test holes, results of laboratory testing, engineering analysis, and our experience. Criteria presented reflects the proposed building as we understand It. We should be advised if the final design differs from our assumptions to permit us to re- evaluate our conclusions. This investigation was conducted In a manner consistent with the level of care and skill ordinarily exercised by members of our profession currently practicing under similar conditions in the locality of this project.
