O. Box 77 Silt, CO 81652 Re: ISDS on Lot 2, Heavenly View Subdivision, Silt, CO HCE File number 95004,10 75# 3 6 u , v ii3 Dear Mr. and Mrs. Bowles: This letter is to follow up on our conversations regarding the individual sewage disposal system for the lot referenced above. Our recommendations are based on the percolation tests conducted by the county, our site visit, and further percolation testing. The additional percolation testing was performed at a shallow depth and in a line running northerly for 100 feet, beginning approximately fifty feet north of the proposed house location. The percolation rates in this area averaged 60 minutes per inch, with the highest single reading thrown out. Therefore, we recommend that a standard absorptiop bed be utilized, and that it be placed as shallow as reasonable. It could be placed very shallow and the additional cover material needed could be obtained from the house excavation, In addition, we recommend that the field be relatively long and narrow and that pressure dosing be used. The pressure distribution piping should be hung in the top of the Infiltrator units, as recommended by the manufacturer. We understand that this ISDS would serve a single family residence with two bedrooms. Therefore, the estimated average wastewater flow would be 300 gallons per day. The design flow, pc regulation, is 1.5 times the average, or 450 gallons per day. 923 Cooper Avenue,. •,G18nWQ9d Springs, CO 81601 Telephone; 3033.945.8Q70,1 FA) ; IJiJll4i4Ni + .. 1)‘1114"' s _ , Bowles April 2 1995 t Page 2 , , . 4 : $ i; 1 yn Ord .
