Dear Mr. Hoagland:
On April 24, 1995, percolation testing was performed at the above
residence. Three trenches running in an east -west direction
spaced approximately 20' plus /minus apart, approximately 3 feet
deep and located in the proposed absorbtion area were observed.
The trenches were dug using a backhoe and an approximate 1' x 1'
x 1' deep hole was hand dug at the bottom of the trench. The
holes were filled with water within 24 hours prior to the testing
and were refilled with water to a depth of 12" prior to final
measurement. The average percolation rate for the three holes
was

Assuming a 4 bedroom (3 bedroom + den) load to the seepage area,
the following areas should be considered minimums:
Seepage 1534 square feet
Seepage trench - 1151 square feet,
These areas include standard adjustments for a garbage grinder
and automatic washing machine.
The septic tank for this residence at the above loading should be
a 1250_ gallon tank.
