1. All installation must comply with all requirements of the Colorado State Board of Health Individual Sewage Disposal Systems Chapter
25, Article 10 C.R.S. 1973, Revised 1984.
2. This permit Is valid only for connection to structures which have fully complied with County zoning and building requirements. Con-
nection to or use with any dwelling or structures not approved by the Building and Zoning office shall automatically be a violation or a
requirement of the permit and cause for both legal action and revocation of the permit.
3. Any person who constructs, alters, or installs an individual sewage disposal system In a manner which involves a knowing and material
variation from the terms or specifications contained In the application of permit commits a Class I, Petty Offense ($500.00 fine - 6
months in jail or both).

Dear Roland:
This letter is to recommend a septic system for )wo- commercial buildings being constructed on
Lots 2 and 4 of the Evergreen Commercial Center. The Garfield County Building and Sanitation
Department has conducted a percolation t est on the Evergreen site and recommended a
percolation rate of 12 minutes per inch. (See Garfield County ISDS Permit # 2356.) ,
Based on your estimate of a maximum of 24 persons per building, and a rate of 20 gallons per
person per day for "factory workers ". This would yield an average daily flow of 960 gallons
per day, and a design flow of 1440 gallons per day. Using the pert rate of 12 minutes per inch,
this would indicate a absorption area of 1000 square feet. Using Infiltrator units this could be
reduced by 40% in a bed configuration, and using 18.75 square feet per unit, Oily two units�
would W_needad,
The calculations indicate that • ne 1000 :allon .tic tank for each building ould be adequate.
