SE Job No. 20050 Dear Joe: Pursuant to your request, this letter and attached drawing provides documentation that the new ISDS system recently installed is in general compliance with the permitted design. Sopris Engineering has performed a site visit to measure and document the as built conditions of the constructed evapotranspiration system. The as built size and relative location of the new ISDS system is delineated on the attached drawing. The evapotranspiration facility was constructed in 3 separate beds due to the existing sloping topography on site. Each bed was installed level. Adjacent beds have a vertical separation of 3 feet and a horizontal separation of approximately 6 feet. A distribution box has been incorporated into the design to insure an equal distribution of effluent over the beds. The total as built bed area is 2220 sf, which is approximately 60 sf larger than the design area of 2160 sf. The filter /treatment media, distribution pipes, and installation are in accordance with Garfield County Regulations, the design presented in the Sopris Engineering Report dated May 18, 2000 and the design drawing dated May17, 2000. If you have any question or need any additional information, please call. Sincerely, SOPRIS ENGINEERING, LLC Yancy Nichol, P.E. Project Engineer VINUS \PO\a,huili -I SDS.
