Signed Date C > PLEASE DRAW AN ACCURATE MAP TO YOUR PROPERTY!! 3 1 7 October 23, 1996 Mr. Bob Zanko 13 Lancelot Lane Hawthorne Woods, IL 60047 -8856 Subject: Percolation Test Results Lot A, Jowell Subdivision Garfield County, Colorado Job No. GS -2011 Gentlemen: As requested, we performed percolation tests at lot A, Jowell Subdivision in Garfield County. Percolation tests were performed by our registered professional engineer, Mr. John Mechling, P.E. This letter describes the soils penetrated by our profile and percolation borings and presents the results of our percolation tests. We drilled five (5) percolation borings to approximately 4 feet deep and one (1) profile boring to approximately 9 feet deep. Locations of our borings are shown on Figure 1. Our profile and percolation borings penetrated 0.5 feet of organic silty sands underlain by dense to very dense, silty to sandy gravels with cobbles and boulders to a maximum drilled depth of 9.0 feet. No free groundwater was found In our borings during our field investigation. Summary logs of the soils penetrated by our borings are shown on Figure 2. Results of our percolation tests are shown on Figure 3. We recommend a design percolation rate of 20 min /Inch. We appreciate the opportunity to work with you on this project.
