GARFIELD COUNTY August 8, 1995 Building and Planning Lyn & Janet Hirneisen 7950 C.R.309 Rifle CO 81650 Re: Building Permit # 4702, issued 4/2/93 Dear Lyn .& Janet, I have been doing routine followup on Building Permits that are still open. According to our records, the above mentioned project is still in need of a Final Inspection. I need to determine if the project is complete, or completed enough to satisfy the requirements of Uniform $uilding Code. Also, we need to know if there has been a Final Electrical Inspection from State Inspector Leonard Rowe. (A copy of our record card is enciosed).a( I would like to take this opportunity to remind you of a couple relevant provisions of the Uniform Building Code. As you know, Chapter 3 of the UBC requires that any work covered by a Building Permit pass a final inspection before use or occupancy. Also, a permit expires every 180. days, unless work is performed and inspections called for during each 6 month period. A permit can remain valid almost indefinitely, as long as there is no use or occupancy of the construction covered by the permit. I visited your home the other day to look at the project. It looks like it may be close to being able to pass a Final Inspection.. Would you please call my office and leave a work phone number where I may get in touch with you. I would like to determine where the project .stands right now, and see if we can schedule a final inspection on the project and clear up our paperwork. I am interested in working with you in a cooperative manner to resolve this issue in your best interest and the interest of Garfield County. I am looking forward to your communication and cooperation on this matter. r tv Ana_ price d)2,44 ree_ iti jliz f6E talpitYou. / 5i2A- /6f-'7 / fig As — 'ew 1e-e £A-v ,2/t).9c- /r, Sincerely, r.a6s L pw CA nee , ate, 7-0 ~ "Jake" 7acobsoa 7 6b,ye, 7044 air. 727 '4' aeatol 1- + Building lidatetor GewzO COor r aetirG 7we oiirtwsF nes c i4."stl '.w ay.4 etea' hirnei0195 109 8th Street, Suite 303 945. 8212/625- 5571/285 -7972 .
