Location: 0404 Remington, Rifle, CO
On 5/18/93, Building Inspector Don Owens, of this office visited the above indicated property
for purposes related to a request by the owner to determine if a building permit was required
for finish work in the basement of the residence.
It appears that wall paneling had been placed on the exterior frame wall of the basement, but
at the time of Don Owens' visit to the property, the wall paneling had been removed in order
to expose the electric wiring in the wall. We understand that the wiring may have been installed
by an unlicensed electrician/person, and will be removed.
The requirement under this building permit is that the electrical installation issue be resolved
and that the paneling, or other wall finish, be applied/re- applied over the paper vapor barrier-
faced insulation. Please call for an inspection when this has been accomplished.
