Date: December 7, 1993
Subject: Application for a building permit and submission of plans.
The plan submitted on this application consists of a one page sketch on a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of
notebook paper. The application is .accompanied by an engineered truss plan for the building.
The sketch conveys very little information regarding how this construction will take place.
Commenting on everything that is not on the plan would take considerably more time than the
preparation of the sketch.
The owner is being provided with a check list of code items most often referred to during a plan
review. The permit will be issued with the understanding of the owner that all provisions of the
code will be required to b complied with and that he will request appropriate inspections to verify
compliance. A copy of this memo will be provided to the owner along with his permit.
Inspections that are required to be requested by the owner will be:
1. Foundation inspection.
2. Concrete slab or under floor inspection.
3. Frame inspection.
4. Gypsum board inspection (if applied).
5. Final inspection.
Inspections may disclose corrections that may be required by the inspector to provide for
compliance with the Uniform Building Code.
