We hung 30 sheets 5/8 fire rock in the garage and under the stairway. Around the bathtubs and showers 12 sheets 1/2" water rock. The ceilings were hung with 53 5/8" fire rock, The walls in this house were hung with 114 sheets of 1/2 drywall. The drywall is hung with 1 3/8 nails on the perimeter and 1 1/4 screws on center.
