Subject: Sign Application, Varinace and Statement of Authority

Attached is the document that you requested. I could not get this in the
Word version but at least this is a good clean original pdf. I have
separated it from the Variance application (more on that later in this
email) so you could send it as a separate document; I hope this works
for you. I apologize for forgetting to send this earlier. Just this week
I was asking myself “Wasn’t I supposed to get some contact info from
High Lonesome?” I must have misplaced your card as it would have served
as a reminder to send this to you. I should have given you my card so
you could have contacted me.
On another subject, I believe we talked about your needing to apply to
the Board of Adjustments for a Variance; that application is also
attached. I have requested that the pre-application be waived because
this is a simple request and we have already discussed some of the
details. A pre-app meeting would only delay the process longer than is
needed and you are a long drive from here.
As I may have mentioned already, the BOA meets on the 4th Monday of the
month. A public notice must be published in the Rifle Telegraph 30 days
prior to the BOA meeting. The paper only publishes once a week
(Thursday) and all notices must be to the paper no later than the Friday
before the date of publication. Unfortunately we have missed the
deadline to advertise for the May meeting so we need to advertise for
June. When I have the Variance application and the signed Affidavit of
Authorization we can work on the notice. Please read the variance
application and provide all the info requested, some of it may be the
same as in the sign application. Once we have connected by email, I can
walk you through the process. It is important that we watch the
timelines so there are no other delays.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Respectfully,
Gale D. Carmoney
