My mother, Gloria Kay Elliott, has requested that I contact you on her behalf regarding this matter' During this process we discovered that the property was listed on the County map as residential urban rather than commercial. ln l-9g0, my parents entered into a joint effort with Rifle Fireside, lnc., now known as the bowling alley, to have both properties rezoned to commercial. This rezoning request was granted. The bowling alley is designated correctly on the map. We have been advised that somewhere along the line, the county had a scrivener's error in the mapping and that while the property is properly zoned as commercial, it is not properly reflected on your maps or other 1 records, lt is our understanding that the county is willing to correct their scrivener's error at their expense and that this may require public notices, for which the county will cover all expenses.
