The Oil and Gas Lease listed above was for a term of five (5) years. I found no recorded documents that
indicated the lease was extended or that the leased minerals were producing.
Conclusion
The patents conveyed both the surface and mineral estates to the original patentees. An examination of
the chain of title from both patents indicates there have been no conveyance of minerals apart from the
surface rights. Hence, from this review, it appears the current owner holds 100% of the mineral interests
of the subject lands and mineral rights. Further, I found no active mineral lease or mineral production
from the subject lands.
